Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Squadon (the "Company") and users in connection with the use of the Squadon application and related services (the "Service").
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means the Squadon all-in-one amateur football team management application provided by the Company.
- "User" means any person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- "Member" means a User who has registered and holds an account.
- "Club" means an amateur football team unit created or joined by a Member within the Service.
- "Content" means all works created, registered, or posted by Members within the Service, including posts, comments, images, and information.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)
- These Terms apply to all Users who wish to use the Service.
- The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law.
- When amending the Terms, the Company will notify Users of the changes and effective date at least 7 days in advance via in-app notices or email. For changes unfavorable to Users, 30 days' notice will be given.
- Users who disagree with the amended Terms may discontinue use and withdraw. Failure to object before the effective date is deemed acceptance of the amended Terms.
Article 4 (Formation of Service Agreement)
- The service agreement is formed when a User agrees to these Terms and the collection and use of personal information, and completes registration.
- The Company may refuse or terminate a registration in the following cases:
- Attempting to re-register with the same information as a withdrawn or restricted account
- Using another person's information or providing false information
- Under 14 years of age
- Other cases deemed likely to disrupt service operations
Article 5 (Service Content)
The Company provides the following services:
- Amateur football club creation and management
- Match schedule registration and attendance voting
- Match record management (goals, MOM, position assignments, etc.)
- Team matching board and mercenary recruitment board
- Player profile and player card creation
- Club board and announcement features
- Other services additionally developed or provided through partnerships
Article 6 (Service Hours and Suspension)
- The Service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle.
- The Service may be temporarily suspended in the following cases:
- Technical needs such as system inspection, maintenance, or replacement
- Power outages, equipment failures, or traffic surges
- Force majeure events such as natural disasters or national emergencies
- In principle, advance notice will be given for service suspension; however, post-hoc notice may be given when unavoidable.
Article 7 (Member Obligations)
- Members must not engage in the following activities:
- Misappropriating another person's information or registering false information
- Infringing the rights of the Company or other users (reputation, copyright, personal information, etc.)
- Using information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without the Company's prior consent
- Disrupting service operations or overloading the servers
- Posting content that defames others or contains obscene or violent material
- Repeatedly sending spam or advertising information to other Members
- Violating applicable laws and regulations
- Members must promptly update their account information when changes occur.
Article 8 (Copyright of Content)
- Copyright of content posted by Members within the Service belongs to the respective Member.
- By posting content, Members grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the content for service operation, improvement, and promotion purposes.
- Even after account withdrawal, club board content and match records shared with other Members may be retained within the Service.
Article 9 (Service Restriction and Account Suspension)
- The Company may issue warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans if a Member violates Article 7.
- Members may appeal such measures, and the Company will review and notify them of the outcome.
Article 10 (Withdrawal and Loss of Membership)
- Members may terminate the service agreement at any time through the in-app withdrawal feature.
- Upon withdrawal, personal information will be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Club captains must transfer their authority before withdrawing.
- Members forcibly withdrawn due to misuse may be restricted from re-registering.
Article 11 (Damages)
- If a Member causes damage to the Company by violating these Terms, the Member must compensate for the damage.
- If a defect in the Company's Service causes damage to a Member, the Company shall bear responsibility to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Article 12 (Disclaimer)
- The Company is not liable when it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, or hacking.
- The Company is not liable for service disruptions or damages caused by a Member's own fault.
- The Company has no obligation to mediate disputes between Members and is not liable for resulting damages.
- The Company limits warranties for free features within the Service to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Article 12-2 (Paid Services and In-App Purchases)
- The Company provides paid subscription services via in-app purchases ("IAP") through the App Store (Apple) and Google Play. Actual payment is processed by each store; subscription types, prices, and payment terms can be found on the store product detail page.
- Subscriptions automatically renew before the end of each subscription period unless canceled by the User. The renewal charge is billed to the store account 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Users must manage subscription cancellation directly through the App Store or Google Play subscription management screen; the Company cannot cancel subscriptions outside of the store.
- After cancellation, the Service remains available until the end of the paid period. Prorated refunds for the remaining period are not provided; this is subject to each store's policy.
- Refund Policy: IAP refunds follow each store's refund policy. For App Store refunds, contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play refunds, contact Google Play Support at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. If a refund is denied by the store, the Company bears no additional refund obligation.
- If a free trial is offered, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial period ends.
- The Company may restrict paid service access for Users who attempt to violate the refund policy or engage in fraudulent purchases.
Article 13 (Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction)
- In the event of a dispute related to the Service, the Company and the Member will endeavor to resolve it through sincere consultation.
- If consultation fails, the dispute shall be resolved in the competent court under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to the interpretation of these Terms and dispute resolution.
